Located in the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, and adjacent to the cable landing station as well as close to other major submarine cable landing stations, Global Switch’s data centre will provide 71,000 m 2 of world-class infrastructure services when all stages are complete and will become Hong Kong's largest carrier & cloud-neutral data centre.

Operational since 2017, the facility is accessed through a strikingly contemporary reception lobby, which also provides state of the art conference rooms and more casual "breakout" seating areas.

Externally, careful consideration was given to colour and materials in articulating the building mass, giving architectural expression to key functional elements from the building profile.

The facility is a leading example of an environmentally sustainable data centre, stage 1 (buildings 1 and 2) of which achieved a LEED platinum rating.

Stage 2 (buildings 3, 4 and 5) are under construction and on course for phased completion during 2019 and 2020.
